well, since i can't upload my pictures now *shakes fist at internet*, i'll just do a regular old update and post the pictures from islands of adventure tomorrow, with the typhoon lagoon pics. good times.

yesterday i woke up early and got to universal sometime around ten. mom and tj had to buy tickets, and by the time they had steve and rob and everyone had showed up. we immediately went on the hulk (hour wait, omg), then wandered over to jurassic park for lunch. we went on the river ride before going to the lost continent, where we all rode ice, and then rob and i rode fire. we all got slushies and went to poseidon's fury, which is such a great attraction. i love the wall of water. ♥

tj and steve wanted to ride fire, so we did that, and by the time we got off it had started to rain. we made our way over to seuss landing, figuring we would go on cat in the hat. the ground was getting reeeally slippery, and i was wearing flipflops, so just as we entered seuss landing i slipped. i screamed, but caught myself, and started laughing so much that when i took my next step, i actually did fall. my feet flew out from under me and i landed on my ass...and on my elbow. it's wonderfully scraped up now, hooray. that was my fun story for the story.

we all ran to cat in the hat in the rain, which was a big mistake: it let us out in this really small gift shop, where everyone was standing around out of the downpour. eventually we got sick of sitting around, so we bought ponchos and umbrellas and ran over to spiderman. steve, rob, tj and i went on it, and the rain was coming inside the ride and the line was all wet, so i kept sliding around. at one point, tj pushed me, and i slid five feet and crashed into steve. it was hilarious. but spiderman was an -awesome- ride, so we had fun. lol.

steve and rob left after that, so mom and tj and i shopped for a bit, went to the fantastic four cafe for dinner, then got express passes to go on the incredible hulk and walked around some more. we went back to the lost continent to buy things...i got this really pretty coin pendant that they pressed for me there. one side of it has a phoenix, the other a knot of love (it's like a heart inside a tribal sun). i love it. by the time we were done shopping, it was time to go on the hulk, so mom went to the christmas shop and tj and i went on our last ride for the day. wooo i love that coaster. we found mom afterwards, bought ice cream, and left. good times.

i passed out last night before one, and woke up today around noon. i put on my bathing suit and went over to the pool to tan and swim, and came in around one thirty. i am sooo burnt it isn't funny, lol. i took a shower before going to the mall with mom, where i got converse sneakers, two pairs of capris, and some new headphones. now i won't be able to hear everyone around me out of one ear, lol. awesome.

tomorrow we're heading over to typhoon lagoon until seven thirty, then i might go to target after dinner or something. saturday we're going to the florida mall, so i can get board shorts and gifts! i'll try to write all my postcards tomorrow or saturday, and get granny to send them out monday, even though i'll be home, lol. it'll be funny though. ;D

now i'm going to go clean some stuff up and go to sleep. i have to be up at eight so we can leave at eight thirty for typhoon lagoon. water slides all day, hooray! ♥ i'll post pics tomorrow, but for now...night!
